I didn't notice any issues, but I wasn't too familiar with the signs and symptoms of her disease. Now that I have read up more thoroughly, all of the signs were there. She wasn't losing that much weight.

This is fluffy and white. My BMI is ~16.2, but has been down to around 12.xx before without I noticed any hair. Is this lanugo? Or am I just becoming a yeti? I tried to google, but cant really find any good pictures. Although lanugo will not occur in all people with an eating disorder, individuals suffering from extreme cases of anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa are at high risk of lanugo.

I didn’t think this would happen as my bmi is 19.8 but having searched the forums this morning as well as Google I’ve read several times it can happen at higher bmis & it’s more about longer term depriving the body of nutrients.

it makes me super self conscious and honestly just disgusts me that it’s there.
